About Us

Our Story
The school was started as a parent cooperative in 1998 with 10 students. Since then, it has grown to include 3 buildings with 14 classrooms, a large updated science lab, an art room, an assembly hall, a 17,000-volume library, administrative offices, a playground, and a sports field.
Hope Academy now serves 172 students from 24 countries, structured as an Elementary School (K–5) and a Secondary School (Middle School 6–8; High School 9–12). Honors and AP courses are offered at the High School level.

Approximately 70% of students speak a language other than English at home. The student body is supported by 26 teachers, 1 teaching assistant, 3 counselors, and 21 support staff representing 13 countries. Parents cooperate closely with the staff to develop and deliver programs that reflect our Core Values. Rigorous academic life is complemented by weekly assemblies, frequent celebrations, and student-initiated special events.

Leadership Team
The Senior Management Team (SMT) provides leadership for the school and meets weekly to oversee day-to-day operations and is chaired by the school director. The SMT is responsible for developing school-wide policies, setting the strategic direction, and driving continuous school improvement, with a focus on student achievement, curriculum, instruction, and school culture.
Our Staff
Staff at Hope Academy are dedicated and passionate educators who provide a top-quality education and are committed to our school's purpose: to instill in our students an ethical worldview that will equip them for effective service to society.
Staff are valued stakeholders who consistently contribute their time, energy, and talent to foster the vision and core beliefs of the school community to the benefit of the entire school. In addition, Hope teachers are expected to be collaborative team members and demonstrate strategies that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
