Brief Description

Hope Academy of Bishkek is seeking a qualified and motivated Social Studies Teacher to join our secondary team for the 2026–2027 academic year. The teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction in social studies, aligned with an American curriculum framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field
  
• Valid teaching certification preferred
  
• Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience (middle school experience preferred)
  
• Knowledge of social studies content, including world and regional history
  
• Familiarity with Central Asian history and culture (or willingness to develop expertise)
  
• Ability to design engaging lessons using primary and secondary sources
  
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
  
• Willingness to collaborate within a supportive international faculty
