Job Description
Brief Description
Hope Academy of Bishkek (HAB) is seeking a full-Time Russian Language Teacher for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, starting January 19, 2026. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in Russian Language across Elementary, Middle School, and High School levels, supporting students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The successful candidate will implement the existing curriculum while bringing creativity, strong pedagogy, and effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students at different grade levels.
Purpose
The Russian Language Teacher plays an important role in supporting students’ linguistic, cultural, and academic development. This position contributes to Hope Academy of Bishkek’s mission by providing high-quality Russian language instruction aligned with school standards and fostering student engagement, growth, and achievement in an international school setting.
Required Education / Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting
- High level of Russian and English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of pedagogy, student learning, and assessment practices
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Effective classroom management and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
- Working knowledge of educational technology and instructional tools
General Description & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement a Russian Language instructional program aligned with school standards and curriculum guidelines
- Deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
- Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and abilities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student learning
- Participate in professional development and remain current with best practices in Russian language instruction

Purpose: Academic Director (AD) occupy a unique place in the continuum of
academic administrators, as the facilitating link among Departments,
teachers, staff, students, and school leadership.
Required Education/Skills:
- Master’s degree in Education or related field with extensive experience
in education leadership, administration, curriculum, and instruction. - Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing schoolwide plans
related to curricula and academic achievement for all children. - Working knowledge of technology and innovative ideas.
- Extensive knowledge relating to pedagogy, student learning, and
assessment. - Ability to work both in a team and independently to complete projects
in a timely manner. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform strategic planning.
- Demonstrated initiative, judgment, and discretion in performing duties.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. standards (Common Core, NGSS, etc.).
- Expertise in data analysis (e.g., MAP Growth).
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration
skills. - Preferred: Experience with ACSI/MSA accreditation.
General Description & Responsibilities:
- Oversee accreditation processes, including timely completion of
reports and compliance with standards. - Support MakerSpace program development and teacher
implementation. - Supervise secondary course documentation, including syllabus review
and approval. - Analyze standardized testing data and share results to inform
instruction. - Collaborate with principals to implement school standards, curriculum,
and new initiatives. - Research, evaluate, and implement educational technologies,
including the Learning Management System (LMS). - Monitor policy changes affecting student academic placement.
- Work with principals, registrar, and academic guidance counselor to ensure accurate grade reporting.
- Coordinate with the academic team to develop and manage the school’s academic budget.
- Lead strategic planning and curriculum development.
- Promote instructional excellence and professional growth across departments.
- Provide recommendations on academic policies and procedures.
- Serve as the focal point for accreditation and continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
Effective Date of Employment: The starting date for this appointment is
January 2026. The initial contract is 1 year in duration. Renewable 2-year
contracts are offered subject to mutual agreement.

Hope Academy seeks a passionate CP English Literature & Composition Teacher to inspire students in critical reading, writing, and analysis within an American curriculum.

HAB is looking for a CP English Literature & Composition Teacher for the second semester of the 2025/26 academic year (starting January 2026). The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction in English Literature & Composition at the high school level, supporting students in developing critical reading, writing, and analytical skills. The teacher will implement the existing curriculum while bringing creativity and effective methods to the classroom.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or English-related field with a current teaching certification.
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience.
- Strong instructional methods to support diverse learners.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a multicultural, international environment.

Position: School Nurse (Part-Time)

Hope Academy seeks a caring, qualified part-time School Nurse to provide health services, promote wellness, and support a safe, nurturing environment for our diverse student body.
Brief Description:
HAB is seeking a part-time School Nurse for the second semester of the 2025/26 academic year (starting January 2026).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and current license/certification.
- At least two years of professional nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage emergencies and administer first aid and medication.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a diverse international environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency care for students and staff, including when the school’s main nurse is unavailable.
- Maintain accurate health records and assist with medical supplies as needed.
- Communicate with parents and staff regarding student health.
- Support school health education, prevention, and wellness efforts.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure student well-being.
