STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL
Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council (SRC) serves the staff and students by building community through special events, acts of service, and other events with a clear spiritual focus. Student council leaders take initiative to plan events and promote community in secondary school under the guidance of a staff council supervisor.
The SRC has permission to facilitate events that promote its mission, such as the following:
- A social event in the autumn (such as a lock-in, bowling, or paintball)
- A social event in the spring (such as Mission: Impossible)
- A winter/spring banquet or equivalent event
- Service projects, such as yard sales
- Movie or game nights
- Stocking and selling goods at the mini-shop
- Producing The Inkling magazine
- Fundraising as necessary
- Running one or more elementary school assemblies
- A teacher appreciation event
- A music evening
- Post-graduation/graduation week activities (such as lock-in, leavers’ party, etc.)
