STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL​

Student Representative Council

The Student Representative Council (SRC) serves the staff and students by building community through special events, acts of service, and other events with a clear spiritual focus. Student council leaders take initiative to plan events and promote community in secondary school under the guidance of a staff council supervisor.

The SRC has permission to facilitate events that promote its mission, such as the following:

  • A social event in the autumn (such as a lock-in, bowling, or paintball)
  • A social event in the spring (such as Mission: Impossible)
  • A winter/spring banquet or equivalent event
  • Service projects, such as yard sales
  • Movie or game nights
  • Stocking and selling goods at the mini-shop
  • Producing The Inkling magazine
  • Fundraising as necessary
  • Running one or more elementary school assemblies
  • A teacher appreciation event
  • A music evening
  • Post-graduation/graduation week activities (such as lock-in, leavers’ party, etc.)
